We strive to keep pets in loving homes. Our multi-pronged approach includes:
Animal SOS offers assistance to senior and permanently disabled pet owners. We provide basic medical care, food, preventatives and transportation to veterinarians and groomers.
Our Pets Safe at Homes Program assists with impound fees, rehoming assistance, vetting, fencing reinforcement, and food. Pets Safe At Home concentrates on helping pets who are at risk of being surrendered to Columbus Animal Care & Control.
Varying spay/neuter programs to meet the needs of the community such as Columbus Pit Fix & SNYP.
Animal SOS is working with Columbus Animal Care and Control (CACC) to handle sponsorship donations. We hope to make it easy to help get more animals into homes where they can be loved. With your help, we will save more lives!
Fund that allows us to get impounded animals at Columbus Animal Care & Control vet care.
Our newest program, WIT, provides medical care to animals at risk and transports them to a growing list of receiving rescues in Illinois, Wisconsin and throughout the northeast. Your continued support of this vital program will be needed. Many of these animals have medicals issues to address and vetting needs to prepare them for the road. Of course having a van to maintain and with the miles adding up quickly oil changes, tire wear and other routine maintenance will be an ongoing expense.
